Thanks, Gary. It had been so long since I saw this one that I'd forgotten what excellent shooting scenes there were. Since I love seeing cowboys wearing chaps, that was another big plus. Loved the shot to the head and the blood smear on the wall after the cowboy slid down into the sitting position. Very hot. But one of my favorite spots actually didn't involve a shooting at all and that's where the kid is shown unbuckling his dead friend's gun belt. Did you notice how he had to first untie the rawhide string holding the holster tightly against the cowboy's leg? If I had been the actor playing the dead one's part in the movie, I would have had a tough time preventing a huge bulge from pushing out from the opening in those chaps when I felt the kid's hands working around in that area, hehe. Last, and by far not the least, they showed plenty of blood when and where you'd expect to see it.
Thank you Phil. The scene you described is in the edit for the same reason: I like it very much. Just like you I wouldn't be able to play the dead guy without showing how much I like that.
Good stuff, Gary. The kid sure is goofy-looking, but there's some great shooting and stabbing scenes. Thanks for this one.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dino. Not much seen such young cowboys. I guess you knew this movie?
